Megan Moore, RDN, LD, CDCES, ACSM-CPT offers two options for individual nutrition counseling, typically including personalized meal plans.
If you live in the North Texas area, you can meet Megan in Frisco, Texas or McKinney, Texas. Lone Star Dietitian offers session-by-session rates, or discounted rates for multiple-session packages (multiple research studies show the importance of three or more appointments).
If you live outside the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area, or you are busy and would prefer the flexibility, you can sign up for the Lone Star Dietitian Remote Nutrition Correspondence Programsm (or RNCPsm). Megan has seen hundreds of clients with a wide variety of interests or concerns such as weight management, disordered eating, athletic performance, diabetes, celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, infant and child nutrition, cholesterol, food allergies, increasing daily energy, and general long-term health. Whatever your personal needs or goals might be, it is recommended to meet with a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist at least three or four times to make and sustain positive nutritional changes.

Megan served as Assistant Athletic Nutritionist for the Texas Tech University football team, and was an athlete herself with experience playing basketball, running track and cross-country, and making the All-American Cheerleading Team. Megan has extensive experience in physical fitness and athlete nutrition.
Past Lone Star Dietitian clients include persons from all levels of athletics. Megan has worked individually with tri-athletes as well as professional, collegiate, and high school athletes. Her clients have included a well-known former NFL quarterback and analyst for ESPN, a Dallas Cowboys football player, and numerous collegiate athletes including athletes for Southern Methodist University's football team and Texas Tech University's football team, tennis team, and cheerleading squad.
Megan can also speak on key nutritional topics for your athletic team or school, on location. She has spoken to basketball teams, football teams, track teams, cross-country teams, tennis teams, and cheerleading squads. Some of the topics of interest to athletes include such things as snack type and timing, game-day nutrition, endurance, weight management, muscle development, supplements, and strength and conditioning.
Megan Moore, RDN, LD, CDCES, ACSM-CPT is experienced with infant and child nutrition, and can help in areas such as child weight management, breastfeeding and infant nutrition, feeding schedules, failure to thrive, childhood obesity, food allergies, picky eaters, anemia, and body mass index.
